Huntsville, Alabama
Before I was a food writer, I was just a girl growing up on cheese dip at El Palacio. Huntsville is my hometown and my heart. It's where Mama taught school, Daddy forecasted the weather, and my bonus dad built rockets. It's the place I return to often, newly married and alcohol-free to be near my roots and remind myself that my story started slower, intentionally. It's now the largest city in Alabama, but it's still small town home to me. .
Breakfast & Brunch
Where I ease into the day with a biscuit, a memory, (maybe a treat from the Moon bakeshop) and the smell of red clay after rain.
Lunch & Daytime Activities
Where I find old favorites (hello, Rosie's) and new surprises between family visits and front porch pauses
Dinner & Drinks
Good food, kind people, and something beautiful to taste with (for me, that's alcohol-free).
